Ruby builds bridges across cultures, combining ancient ideas with contemporary style by putting exquisite Sufi poetry to music.
Ruby is the result of an inspired collaboration by three artists: Lisa Ferraro, vocalist; Erika Luckett, guitarist and vocalist; and Kabir Helminski, songwriter, author, and translator of Rumi and Sufi sheikh.
Ruby's debut album, On the Way of Love: Songs Inspired by Rumi, brings forth a collection of eleven songs inspired by the wisdom and poetry of the 13th century mystic, who some consider the greatest spiritual poet of all time.
